East Coast Powerdive Servicing.

Happy New Year from the team at East Coast Powerdive Servicing. We hope you had a great Christmas and wish you a healthy, safe and prosperous 2023.

We have been very busy over the Christmas period with repairs, servicing and Powerdive hookah diving system maintenance jobs. It seems the message about getting your Powerdive electric hookah serviced every 2-3 years is starting to get out there, as I was kept very busy, with replacing Powerdive parts and fittings to get these older 12v compressor units back to perfect running order.

It is really nice, to see how much our Powerdive 12v hookah dive system owners appreciate it, when they get their Power snorkel, Deck snorkel or Double Deck snorkels back and it is running like new. Over 25 years of producing Powerdive hookah dive systems, we have strived to make machines that will “go the distance” and the fact that I am now servicing many hookah dive regulators and Power dive compressor units, that are up to and sometimes older, than 20 years.  At East Coast Powerdive Servicing, we keep all the replacement parts and fittings for your Powerdive 12v hookah dive systems and we can turn a machine around very quickly, if need be, so you can be back in the water hookah diving in “no time flat”.

A standard service on a Powerdive electric hookah is only $125 (plus any replacement parts needed). Most parts are not that expensive and we only ever replace parts and fittings that we see are un-serviceable. All you need to do is send us the machine itself, (either the floating diving compressor or Decksnorkel unit) and the one or two hookah dive regulators. We will do the rest!

If your unit is performing badly or has been maybe over-heated, then we can replace the whole hookah dive compressor, with a brand new pump/motor assembly. Sometimes this replacement is necessary, as we no longer attempt to repair the motor units, as this has proved problematical in the past.

One of the most common repairs, we carry out on the Powerdive floating dive compressor is to replace the dive compressor heads or valve plates, as they have become corroded from salt water ingestion. In a later blog I will “run you through” how to wash and clean your Powerdive Australia dive compressor internally, so as to avoid corrosion damage to the compressor unit.

So…..If you haven’t had your Powerdive unit serviced in the last three years, it’s time you did!  Give me a call on 0410 165 755 to arrange sending it, or I can arrange to have it picked up, if need be. Please tell all your friends who own Powerdive 12 Volt diving compressors, that they should seriously consider getting their hookah diving compressor serviced.  Often that’s all it needs to get it running beautifully and they can be back in the water having fun or doing their boat maintenance.

Until next time, Happy and Safe Powerdiving.

Kind regards,

Steve Gregory (original developer of PowerDive).
