As we come out of summer, we are gearing up for a big sale of 12 volt hookah systems, dive gear, snorkelling gear, new and used, Powerdive units and all sorts of Scuba equipment. Time to list all these dive hookah items and accessories has been our biggest problem over Summer, with Powerdive repairs, maintenance, servicing and sales keeping me absolutely flat-out.

We are presently away overseas on a long overdue holiday, having not had a break for over three years. Once I’m back, in early March, I will be “full speed ahead” on photographing, cataloguing and listing all the diving dear stock, that we have in the warehouse, so “watch this space” for some great deals on new, used and reconditioned dive gear, hookah diving gear and dive accessories like, masks, fins, boots, snorkels, wet-suits, as well as new and used scuba diving gear.

Also, all you Powerdive unit owners, please don’t forget that your dive hookah units should be serviced every two to three years, so now is a good time to send them to us at East Coast Powerdive Servicing, for a thorough cleck-over, before you pack them away for winter, if you live in the Southern states, or before you get your boat ready for winter fun and cruising up North. It is really important, that your dive compressors and dive regulators are working in tip-top condition, before you undertake your regular under-boat cleaning and maintenance, or you set off for some fun diving with family and friends.

As your Powerdive hookah systems are electric hookahs, it is necessary to check all electrical connections, to ensure good quality power to the motor, so as to avoid high amperages and possible burn-outs. This is just one part of the Powerdive procedures we carry out, once you send your machine to us for routine servicing. We also check all dive compressor air pressures and flows, the integrity of the inside of the dive compressor, especially whether any salt water has entered the Powerdive unit and caused corrosion to the valve plates. If so, these can be replaced. Corroded dive compressor heads can be dangerous to the hookah diver, as the corrosion can contaminate the air flow to the diver.  This is why it is so important to have your Powerdive Power Snorkel, Powerdive Deck or Double Deck Snorkel regularly serviced.

All dive compressors, but especially 12v compressors, need this on-going servicing. Hookah diving units and hookah diving regulators are easy to maintain, so that each and every hookah dive is safe and enjoyable.
